Period back yet?

Have you gotten your period back yet? I thought mine was starting over the weekend. I had very very minimal brown spotting Saturday, Sunday, Monday. Negative PT Monday morning on a Dollar General dollar test (the purple and white). Has anyone else experienced this and what were your results? Is this a normal first postpartum period, or a warning period?

my period just came back last week even though I am still breastfeeding.

I'm glad I'm not the only one who hasn't had a period yet. I see women who start like a month postpartum and here I am almost a year and still nothing. I wont complain though! And I'm sure breastfeeding has a lot to do with it. Although my SIL got pregnant at 3 months pp and I'm not sure if she was breastfeeding or not. I also wonder if birth control has an effect on it...

I just got my period back my LO is 10 Months Old and now she only nurses on me 3-4 times a day and less when she’s in daycare. It was pretty terrible getting it again. Also I guess your milk production takes a dip during your period and then picks back up when it’s over. My LO definitely nursed longer and more frequent when I had my period.

I got mine but it's gone again cos I am pregnant again! we wanted our kiddies close so sometimes I would express in the morning and give it as the nighttime feed. my fella was sleeping through so this made about 15hrs gap and was enough to bring my periods back. wether this is the only reason I don't know, my mum naturally got her cycles back early despite 3hrly nursing so maybe genetic factor? good luck to you
