Is anyone else not an extremely gentle mom? I love my daughter and have never intentionally hurt her, in fact I've only accidentally hurt her twice in her life (nail clipping and a small bump on the head) but I am not the most gentle mom. She's 1 and one of our favourite games is me pushing her on her bed (floor bed) and her dramatically falling over and laughing, I also tickle, wrestle, and bite her fingers and toes. I've also been known to plop her down a little fast (on the bed) and pull her towards me by her ankles. My husband says I'm unusual because I'm not gentle. She doesn't cry, she actually laughs. I am starting to doubt myself because my husband comments often.
