So yesterday my Husband and I made the decision that no one will be babysitting the baby for awhile till he starts walking and talking. Nothing personal, but A LOT of babies are dying from things like a kiss for example. We had to break it down to both our moms because we know they wouldn't respect our wishes when it comes to our baby. We wouldn't want a tragic situation to happened, not saying they wouldn't hurt our baby intentionally, but if we do have a rule to not kiss our baby... they both dont like that rule and my husband and i know they wouldn't follow that rule leaving them alone with baby. This is our 1st baby afterall. This is our pride and joy.. are we wrong for wanting to take precautions?? Both their feelings are hurt, but we had to explain to them that this is our 1st baby and we are going to be over protective because of that 😓 Btw, I am a stay at home mom, so it isn't like I work or anything. So a banysitter really isn't neeeded anyway (for those wondering)
