has anyone gotten their babies revised, lip tie/tongue tie around this age?

I hope you know lip and tongue ties only need to be released if there are feeding issues. You would have known that early on.

that was my concern. the sedation part 😭😭. from the very beginning her pediatrician did say she had a little tongue tie & would snip it right then and there, but being a first time mom I was not prepared nor educated on that subject at all to make a decision. had no idea it was something that should had been done. I kept asking at every checkup, how it was looking and she always said it didn't concern her..  but as time went on I kept looking into it & knew something had to be done. so I scheduled a appt with a ENT when she was 7 months old. he also said she had a tongue tie but nothing that concerned him enough that if I didnt want to do it, it was fine, since her weight gain was fine.. he didn't even check her for a tongue tie the way I've heard they're supposed to. mom & Dr knee to knee. he did it while I was holding her up right.. nor did he check for a lip tie. knowing she had a tongue tie.. so of course I didn't go thru with this precidure, because he assured me that she mostly likely wouldnt have any issues from this tongue tie. I didn't want to put my baby thru pain if I could help it. I know. should have done it in newborn stage.

Yes my daughter just had lip and tongue tie release surgery sept 1 at 8 1/2 months old 
Her orig dr i call him dr idiot refused to do it at 6 weeks old when i brought it up to him he said she was too old so i took it upon myself took her to the childrens hospital ent took one look at her and said how soon do you want surgery 
Now had dr idiot done it in the first place she would not have needed sedation all i would have had to do was swaddle and hold her the only reason she was sedated was because at 8 1/2 months old babies tend to flail and put up a fight we had to be up at 3am out the door by 4 to be at the hospital at 5:45am surgery was at 7:15 by 7:30 she was already done and in recovery discharged at 7:59 but we didnt end up leaving the unit until just after 8 since they wanted to make sure she was able to keep down clear pedialyte
