Cramps && brown discharge

I have not had a period since january after taking plan b, I am not pregnant && I have not engaged in intercourse ever since. I was cramping really bad today and had brown discharge with hints of blood. I dont understand whats going on with my body. Do u guys get brownish reddish discharge before af gets here? Should I go to my obgyn?
