Jax was born 11 weeks early, at 29 weeks & 2 days. He only weighed 2 pounds & 13 ounces . We were in the NICU for 79 days , &because as a stay at home mom i was able to be next to him threw everything, including when he got very sick and had a blood infection and needed a blood transfusion because he wasn't making his own red blood cells. He also had severe reflux where he'd almost die and the doctors were rushing to save him every other day. Which led to Jax needing to have surgery. He had a nisen performed , where they wrapped his stomach around his esophagus and they put a GI button in his stomach. And the anaesthesiologist had failed to insert the breathing tube and caused my sons throat to swell and he lost alot of blood during surgery and needed another blood transfusion and a few days later was good enough to go home 😍 and now after almost 3 months , on Friday the 13th, jax will be getting his GI tube removed from his stomach because he doesnt need it anymore 😭😭😭😭.
