Do your OPKs suddenly turn positive or progressively get darker over several days?

First month doing OPKs and they are super light negatives despite taking them around noon on a 3 hour hold without any liquids since breakfast! I’ve also been having ewcm so I’m confused. All my apps say I’m in my fertile window and should O Monday/Tuesday. Does it typically get positive suddenly one day??

Here’s a reference of mine the month I conceived.  Please remember all of these apps are only guesses and should be taken with a grain of salt.  You can see with Mine they slowly got darker and then started getting lighter again after ovulation.

I love the easy at home brand OPKs because (at least for me) when they turn positive it is very very obvious. I also confirm with digital OPKs just to be sure!

following.. my peak day was wedneaday acroding to Glow but OPK i havnt had a possitive yet.. very light. were you on BC?

Yesterday is the top test. Today’s is bottom. Taken around the same time.

I just got my positive today and mine were still pretty light until this morning it was as dark as the control line. It sounds like everyone is different😊

I've had both. Most of the time is a gradual fade in though :)
