THREE follicles?!

Got my ultrasound today, first round of fermara. Was surprised to see three big follicles instead of one. Doctor cancelled my iui as she said risk of triplets is high. I’m having a hard time agreeing and understanding that.

Anyone else have three and get pregnant with only one or two babies?

I wouldn’t even mind twins. Triplets I know is a bigger health risk but I thought it was much more rare. I thought we’d do the iui in hopes that even one follicle would be successful. They want to lower my dosage of fermara and try thr iui next month depending on my follicles.
