Worst birth story with a happy ending
So on the 4th of October 10:20pm my water broke when I went to the loo. I thought to myself as soon as contractions start I will go in to hospital. 6am on the 5th still no contraction so we decided to go in to hospital and get it checked out. Got to the hospital at 7clock. I sat there in the maternity ward waiting for anyone to help me but know they said I must wait for docter (who is busy with 50 other woman giving birth, the oky doctor working that day) so im sitting there starting to stres coz baby can only be that long without water i the womb before they can get infection. My husband comes storming in to the ward where I was waiting as he was not aloud with, demanding my file so that he can take me to another hospital. We got to the other hospital told the the story and tbey helped immediatly. I was put on 2 antibiotic drips. 1 to stop infection that already started and 2 to prevent any other infection. the was 3pm on the 5 th.an hour later I first started getting contraction s It was mild and bearable. by 5pm contractions were constant and close to eacher where the put me on a monitor to monitor baby. contraction were getting sever and I couldnt ly still for the monitor to work and check baby. the midwife checked me and I was onky 4 cm. I started praying as contractions was hurting and I wanted to climb out the walls. with the next 30 min I felt like dying with pain and screamed for pain medication. the midwife said they cant give pain meds if they cant monitor to see if baby is fine to do so. she checked me again and i was a full 10cm and ready to push. they moved me to the labour ward where I started to push. by this time I was out of breath and out of strength as no one helped with labour and breathing. It took 10 long hectic pushes for baby to get out as they didnt tell me when to push I had to push when I felt the urge to push. my baby girl came out and she was beautifull. daddy was not aloud with me the whole time as it was hospital policy and had to do everything alone. they checked baby and she was doing good the started checking me where i had tore really bad. 47 stiches later and the midwife cant tell me why I tore so bad as baby was very small 2.9kgs. after stitching we were finaly aloud to bond which i abselutely loved. we spent the night and only got to go home at 1pm where baby girl got to meet daddy for the first time since birth. hubby is absolutely amazing and has been helpfull with everything so far. bonding time is great and i absolutely love it. so here i am FtM with abad birth experience 47 sticthes later with a great loving daughter not wanting to let her go.
