I've been going over this in my head a million times, so I thought I'd come here and get some opinions. My best friend from nursing school really really wants to throw me a baby shower. This is my 5th child and our 5th GIRL! Of course we were hoping for a boy. Hubby and I are actually very excited and can't wait to meet our baby girl. We had a shower with our other girls and our youngest is 6. We didn't plan on having any more kids and have nothing, so we will be starting over. We've already bought most of the big stuff (crib, bassinet, travel system, changing table, bathtub, rock n play). Since we are having another baby girl I'm just wondering if it's ok to have a shower?

I'm due Jan 26th and she wants to plan the shower for Nov 11th!
