I'm trying the no contact rule with a guy I like but has pulled away from me and we have almost stopped talking I think it's because there was too much pressure has this worked for anyone has it failed does anyone have a better way to go about it or advice!!??? and no contact as in no texting or phone calls or seeing him.

It sounds like a childish game to play. Of course if you say don't text me or call me, the other person will seem distant.
I have no need for this kind of "rule" in my relationship.
I'd stop doing this and stop taking advice from whoever told you this was a good idea.

Stopping contact does one of two things… 1. Makes him realize that you are not spending as much time and energy on him and he will try to pursue you instead.... or 2. He doesn't care and stopping contact is all that really happens. If the second one happens, it's just showing you that he's not the one for you. Stopping contact is the best thing you could do in that situation anyway. So if he's not contacting you, just move on with your life. It's not a game. It's just if he's interested, you would know. If he's not, you'll also know.
