Hi I've been exclusively pumping for 7 months. For a while now I've noticed that while pumping I get a purple ring around my nipples. When I'm done with a pump my nipples look purple and have reddish dots. I'm assuming it's burst blood vessels? It's not painful but can be sensitive (sorry hubby) at times. What I'm wondering is has anyone else experienced this and did it go away when you stopped pumping? I'm worried about permanently damaging my nipples.
