When did you stop taking meds (progesterone, estrogen) after frozen embryo transfer?

Dr says I can stop now, at 10 weeks. I know the placenta has supposedly taken over but also have also suspected a low progesterone problem. Dr didn't do bloodwork - stopping is just based on how far along I am. I know my dr is good but I'm also so nervous! Is it normal to stop without bloodwork?
