Unless you have duplicates of everything, wait a bit longer. You don’t want to have to grab something from your bag and forget to replace it. Start by making a good list and keeping it out so you can add to it as you think of things. Around 34 weeks I started putting things in the bag and crossing items off, until I have only a few things left that I’ve circled. I can’t pack a going home outfit for myself until I’m walking out the door, just because I don’t have enough spare clothes.

Do it little bit at a time. If there is something you don’t need for the next few weeks pack it. When you think of something you want just throw it in.
