10 wk ultrasound showed empty sac 😢

Hi ladies,

I went to my first apt today, supposed to be 10 weeks along. My ultrasound showed the sac but no fetus. Im devastated. My Dr. said this is normal and happens often.

A part of me is a little in denial especially after reading stories of misdiagnosis. People have said they are not as far along as they though and their tilted uterus prevented them from seeing a fetus until much later in the pregnancy.

I have a tilted uterus and was sure to tell my Dr. but she said she is 100% sure this us not a viable pregnancy.

She said i can let the miscarriage happen naturally or take a pill or schedule a d&c.;

I would much prefer to let it happen naturally but I am going to greece next week for 3 weeks.

Im not sure what to do. Has anyone experienced this before?
