Baby measuring large?

Question

I went for my 34 week appointment. I am due 11/24/17. When my midwife measured my belly she asked me when was the last time I had an ultrasound. Which was back in August. She informed me she is going to schedule me an ultrasound because the baby seems to be measuring on the large side. Is this normal to hear this around this time? I know thats not an indicator that i’ll be delivering early. Any moms have their doctor mention this to them?

Normal....My baby is measuring about a week ahead but doc said will prob just be a big baby and doesn't necessarily mean I'll go early. I'm 33 weeks and still have one more sono at 38 to check at that point.

what were you measuring at? my friend had this happen and went for a growth scan. they told her the baby was gonna be small. when she delivered, baby was a perfectly healthy 7.5 lbs. They try to be accurate but you just don't know until baby is here. i wouldnt sweat it too much :) amazing, we can put men in space, but we can't accurately predict how big our babies will be 💁
