Breech at 36 weeks!

We went in for a growth check today (at 36 weeks on the dot), and baby is in the complete breech position. Baby has been head down for the entirety of my pregnancy and chooses the start of 9 months to flip the wrong way!

The tech didn't seem too worried as baby looked great other than being breech, and said there was still time for baby to flip. I won't see my doctor until next week, and I'm freaking out!

I know there's time, and baby could flip, but I'm so worried we'll have to go in for a c-section. This is not what I was hoping nor expecting to hear today.

Anyone have a similar experience or know anyone who had a similar experience and wound up able to give birth vaginally? Any reassurance would be appreciated.

(And yes, ultimately, we will do whatever is needed to deliver a healthy baby. My plans will always accommodate for what is best for this little nugget- cesarean included.)

Update: just saw the OB the day at 37+1 weeks and this little nugget is back to head down! Phew! Thanks for all the well wishes and advice!
