Can we stop with these please??

Why are we “allowing” any spouse to do any thing. I’m sorry but if you’re old enough to be married, you are old enough to make any, and every decision on your own.

Maybe I’m super lucky in a sense that we don’t “allow” each other nothing, we talk about it. We have conversations about work, health, fitness, food, everythingunderthesun and we discuss decisions and what we would like life outcomes to be. And we don’t always agree. And that’s okay!!! But not once in our 3 years have we ever uttered the words “allow” or any tense of it about each other.

It breaks my heart seeing these posts and maybe I’ll never understand it... kids should and shouldn’t be allowed to do things. Prisoners should and shouldn’t be allowed. Husbands and wives and boyfriends and girlfriends and fiancés should never have this issue
