Corpus Christi navy wives? New to Texas

Hi! So we are from California. I have lived in California for its about all of my life but husband is getting a duty station from Camp Pendleton to Corpus Christi and I am nervous/scared/anxious about going. We are also trying for baby #4! I am scared about going there and being pregnant and having no one.  Anyone from Corpus Christi or live there now? How do you get involved?

I'm in a different branch, but most branches have an ombudsman for wives. They have meetings and discuss all kinds of things from exchanging cookie recipes to day care around the area, medical issues, and all the resources that branch has to offer their members. Your husband should be able to find out where those meetings are held and who is in charge of that. Good luck!!
