PMS hit hard because of DR PHIL

I'm ridiculously angry that DR PHIL even exists. It's like the Jerry Springer of abusive family dynamics. I'm watching this episode right now and all I can think is they're probably ganging up on the child who is probably being abused and acting out (all the red flags are there and hate to tell you dad but you don't just go to jail for three weeks on a "lie" and cps doesn't repeatedly investigate if they don't have a cause to) and then has the other siblings lie (who could also be lying to protect themselves from abuse) because ITS NATIONAL TV WHO IS GOING TO ADMIT THEIR DAUGHTER IS TELLING THE TRUTH ABOUT CRIMINAL ABUSE TO A MINOR?! Use your brains, it's insulting to someone who's experienced this type of abuse (and was a reactive teenager) and who works in the mental health field and does assessments and mandated reporting. Like come on, do people believe this?
