Posible induction cuz baby is big?

Chasity

Im 25 weeks on Friday, so Ive still got a long ways to go. At my last appointment, at 24 weeks, I spoke to the practitioner that saw me about my baby's size. My husband was born an ounce shy of 10lbs and had a huge head. I want to say it was like 15cm or something. His mom is about 2 or 3 inches taller than me, and built more "sturdy" than I am. Like she's bigger everywhere, except the boob department. Im pretty much straight up and down, no curves except my breasts. My last baby gave me all kinds of hell. I was in labor for 3 days and she was only 6lbs 13oz. At the anatomy scan at 20wks, he was measuring 3-4 days ahead everywhere (like head size, stomach size, and length). When they measured my belly at 24wks, he was a week ahead. After explaining to her that I really don’t want to give birth to a 9-10lb baby, she said that I needed to bring the issue up again around 35 weeks if he continues to measure ahead. She said they’d do another ultrasound to see more in depth how he is growing and how much room he’s got left. They cant induce until 39weeks unless its life threatening. I told her I prefer not to have a c-section. Has anyone else gone through this? What did yalls doctors decide was the best option? Did you ever go into labor naturally before the planned induction or c-section?
