Is it awkward to empty a diva cup in a public bathroom?

also, what’s everyone’s thoughts on diva cups?

when you're on the toilet, dump out as much as you can and don't get any on the toilet seat, then you can use a water bottle in your purse to rinse it off if you want. I've never used one but I imagine it won't be awkward if nobody can even see you

Ive never had to do it in a public toilet, I just empty it right before I go out

I have a love hate relationship with Diva Cups. I love the concept of them, but can't grasp how to get it in without it hurting.  Also, it's not awkward as long as you make sure you didn't drip blood on the toilet seat.

I’ve used a Diva Cup since 2009. I love it and will never go back. In public bathrooms, I empty the cup and reinsert. Then when I get home, I take it out and wash it like usual. No big deal.

Yeah the water bottle idea is perfect. I've done it that way. It's a little awkward physically  to do it in a public bathroom but not horrible. I'd try to go to a smaller bathroom or a single stall deal. Also bring paper towels in with you. Your hands can get messy.
