When do you test to see if you are pregnant? After you missed your period of when?

I would love to know the answer to this bcuz I havent had my period for like 6 weeks now!

It depends on which pregnancy test you use. I bought a pregnancy test because I've been off the pill for about two and a half months and we've only been using withdrawal. My period was four days late (before the pill I was irregular so I didn't know if I was pg or if it was just irregularity), so I took it on the fourth day and it was negative. However the instructions on the test said that if you're irregular, to test 19 days after the day you think conception occurred, and if it's negative, wait three more days then test again to make sure (I got my period two days after that). If you're regular though, I would say a week or two after your missed period. Especially if you are experiencing additional pregnancy symptoms.
