How did you get your husband to agree on a name?

Have you ever had a name you truly loved and he just wouldn't have it or vice versa? How did you compromise?

I picked the first name and my argument was baby is getting his last name

We had the deal of he picked the boy name and I picked the girl name. But he's honestly so laid back. He'll tell me if he doesn't like a name but if I truly loved it he'd let me use it.

I just wanted to say we are going through this right now! My husband got to name our son and the name I love for a girl he hates. I feel like I should be able to name our girl! 😩

We were both stuck on a name for our first and eventually I just grew to like his name better. It took months. I was convinced I would not sway but I'm so glad I did! He's a master at naming

He said, Choose whatever name you want for a girl but if it's a boy. I want him to be a junior!

I had a list of my favs and he picked one of them for the first name and then came up with the middle name on his own! I’m very happy with our name 😍

I would say that it's as much his decision as yours.. so if he doesn't love a name, you have to keep trying! We went through so many names as my partner is a teacher and that makes it all the more difficult as there are some names of kids you just can't stand!
