Did you and your significant other fight more after your baby was born (first 3 months)?

Both sleep deprived & stressed looking after our newborn...

Lack of intimacy was a huge part of it though...

We bickered a lot more, but fought a lot less. Does that make sense? Like we were both sleep deprived and generally very snappy, but as far as fighting about deeper issues, that really became less frequent. Neither of us wanted to get to the point of “omg I hate you” when we had somebody else relying on us. So it was more things like “JESUS ANTHONY WASH THE BOTTLES IF YOU SEE THE SINK IS FULL I AM SO TIRED!!!”

yes and no, we did argue,  but we also got closer.

I don’t think I can’t say that we fight more at all. However the biggest change has been the intimacy. We truly lack on that department anymore. I was so ready to get back into the sex game once I had my LO and by 7 weeks pp we finally did but now at 4.5 months pp I never have the desire and sometimes where I tore still gets a little sore and tender. I think that’s actually what causes some tension between us. But I’m up by 445 am to get ready for work and get the LO ready for Daycare and then at night I’m the one up feeding him and putting him to bed and by the time I go in to bed my SO is already asleep. We just don’t find the time for it I guess.

yeah we ended up having a date night (baby with babysitter) and it took away a lot of tension

Having our daughter made us closer 🙂 things aren't perfect, we have way less sex and we piss each other off, but we have to work as a team to care for her and that has made us stronger 💪🏽 Sex will come eventually when we're both ready-- right now we're always really tired & im just scared tbh Lol
