Double stroller?? Advice please!

Hello everyone!! I'm pregnant now with baby #2, due April 30th. My daughter will be 3 when new baby arrives. So a few questions and advice.

Is a double stroller necessary? Would a single stroller with a kickboard be better? I'm not considering price, I really just want the best and easiest for both. We have a minivan so I don't have to worry about a cramp trunk or anything, lol.

Car seat suggestions would be awesome too. I really love the peg perego but I've been looking at the 4moms a lot.
