How to Second letdown?

Hi there! FTM here and I'm exclusive pumping due to nipple issues. I know this might be early but tomorrow marks one week PP. I have a spectra pump and am pumping every 2.5-3 hrs religiously. My breast empty quick, like in 5 minutes then I pump for 5 more with nothing else out. I've tried pumping for 20 minutes and hitting the letdown button again with no luck. Any tips? I get crazy about how much my newborn is eating 70ml a feed at 5 days and how much I have stocked ! Help!

Drink lots of water/Gatorade and eat a lot! Also I mess with my pump a lot after my first let down. High, low, letdown mode, I just see what works. Maybe pump more often if you're only getting one letdown?

Hi! I’m an exclusive pumper and have been for 4 months now! Personally I get a let down every 5-10 minuets with the majority of my milk coming down in the first letdown. I also have the spectra. What I do is I use the letdown button in the beginning set to 70 and LO4 and once I feel or see my letdown (don’t always feel it) I switch to the regular pump at 54 and LO5. Then when I see no more milk is coming I go back to let down and do that for 2 minutes or so. No matter if milk is coming or not I always switch back to regular after a few minutes because im not trying to pump my nips off. Then I do 5 min on reg and basically rotate that until I hit 15-30 minutes. How long I pump really depends on my mood and how tired and busy I am. I almost always get a letdown at the 20-21 minute mark. 
If you keep at it your body will learn that you need more milk and you’ll let down more and produce more! 
In the beginning I was every 3-4 hours and produced over double what my daughter ate. I’ve dropped to 4 (5 if I’m ambitions) times a day and am pretty on par with her now!

you may not be getting another let down like you want to of you're emptying out in 5 min. you'll probably get a let down, but it's much slow. have you tried starting with the cycles 56/4, for about 5 min and then press the let down button in 72/5?

I pump for 20 minutes. I start pressing the let down button the last 10 minutes over and over again. Most of the time I get a second letdown in that time sometimes I don't :(
