Help!

I didn’t start a new one. I based my cycle off of the 28 day cycle with the pack. My fertile window was from Sept 22-27. On 10/9 and 10/10 I had very light spotting. On 10/11 it was gone. I told a test today, 10/12, and it was negative. Am I testing too soon or am I out this cycle?
