Excited!

I went to my doctor appt today and I haven't progressed since last week. I'm still at a 2 but cervix is very soft and thin.

He said if I haven't had my baby girl by Thursday next week, he's inducing me on Friday morning (10/20). Due date is 10/23 and he's on call all next weekend.

Induction isn't really the path I know we hope for but I am so excited either way! It's so relieving to know I will meet my daughter next week!!

For you ladies who are curious, he said that he doesn't feel comfortable letting his patients go past their due dates typically. He feels like the risks associated with that, are much more than the risks of being induced.

He's been doing this for over 20 years and has been voted the best OB in my area for years. I trust him and am thrilled for next week! ❤️❤️
