Finally here 💙

I got induced Sunday morning with the cervidil insert, after 24 hours of nothing progressing they decided to put in another for a second dose. I didn't get my hopes up on that one working either. But 12 hours later at 10pm Monday night I felt a pop and a gush, my water broke!! Contractions started instantly after that, and even though I was only 1cm dilated they gave me an epidural at 1am to try to sleep through it. Unfortunately the first one they put in only froze the left half of my body so I had to get it done twice, but getting a needle in my back wasn't as bad as I was expecting, just hard to stay still through the contractions! I had 14.5 hours of active labour, and over 2 hours of pushing and have never been in so much overwhelming pain and exhaustion in my life. I didn't believe when people say you forget about it all once your baby's out, but it's true. My perfect little man was born on Tuesday October 10, 6lbs 4oz and I couldn't be more inlove 💙💙
