When do you start buying for unborn!?

I'm currently pregnant with twins!!! I'm almost 9 weeks so certainly I won't start buying things right now unless I see a sale I CANT let pass me by on something like wipes and diapers! Not any big things like cribs and such! When did you start buying for your babies? I'm thinking I'll start after finding out the gender! Also when did you have your baby shower!?

Many will disagree with me on this, but I see nothing wrong with starting to buy small things right now! I mean, waiting though just as caution, is almost like thinking negatively? You're having TWO babies! And sometimes, twins come a little earlier, giving you LESS time to prepare! Girl, you gonna need a LOT of stuff lol! Get going, good luck and CONGRATS!!!

I started at 3 months pregnant with buying diapers wipes bottles etc by the time i was 16 n found out her gender she had everything she needed Now im 32 weeks 5 days n were over prepared in havent had our baby shower yet but i feel great to have no worries its really up to you n when u feel comfortable caz both our families thought to wait until i was further along but its almost time we got everything n my daughter is completely healthy

just a little of some of her things we got way more than she'll prob use but i have alot of friends who are having kids after me so i can always give things away our little ones due Dec 3rd n were naming her Lyric DaNiyah Simone Armstrong! 👣👶👑💜

I bought things after I knew the gender. this time around I'm going to start buying diapers and wipes shortly after I find out I'm pregnant. congrats on the twins! I have a set of my own. do you know if they are identical or fraternal yet based on the scan?

I think you can start buying whenever however I would NOT stock up on diapers and wipes. I have 3 kids and they each took different diapers due to skin sensitivity, and they each outgrew the sizes at different paces. You may not be able to return them by the time you'd need to return/exchange them, not to mention it's such a hassle. I do an amazon subscription and buy as I go, the savings tend to be better than the store sales.

I waited till 18 weeks and got vests, sleepsuits and a couple outfits, holding off was tough though! For clothes I tell myself that she’ll be born at the end of winter so hopefully won’t need proper winter clothes which are in store now. 
Nappies and wipes... well I’ve always got wipes (got a toddler) and nappies are never on deal/sale here so will wait till nearer the time. 
When we got stuff like the travel system and cot we’d have been about 16 weeks and only got so early because everything was in the January sales ☺️

I started buying stuff around 9 weeks. Things like diapers, towels, gender neutral clothes. Pretty much any sale items or if I had coupons. As well as small items like nail clippers, comb, and washcloths. I'm 25 weeks and we have everything we need, except her car seat. I just haven't ordered it yet. We are having a diaper party November 4th. My c-section date is January 4.

I waited until I was out of the first trimester. Then that's when things got dangerous lol. She has soo much clothes now 😭😭 I'm 36 weeks today.
