Mucus plug-Labour approaching?

I had quite a bit of brownish-pink chunks of what I can only presume is my mucus plug come out this morning. I’m just curious if anyone has gone into labor within a couple days of this happening? Just wondering if I should wrap up things at work today 🤔

With my first pregnancy I went into labor 2 days after losing my plug, I’m currently pregnant with #4 and have been losing it for nearly 3 weeks. It definitely all depends on your body and if baby is ready. I promise no amount of walking, sex, pineapple, castor oil, primrose oil or anything else will actually put you into labor unless your body is ready to go.

I understand that it could happen weeks before hand... just looking to see if it has happened to others shortly before labor has started.

Your mucus plug can come out weeks before the baby comes it doesn't mean much ... look for steady contractions or your water breaking
