Being induced more painful?

Question

So I'm 38 weeks, my doctor said on my due date if I haven't had him then we will set the date to be induced. I heard it was more painful to be induced. 😓 is there ways to help bring on labor so I don't have to be ?!

I felt it was! I was induced with my son and it was way more painful and longer. I was in labor for about 18 hours with him. And with my daughter I went natural and the labor and delivery were only like 10

Definitely do an epidural w pitocin.

It is way more painful to be induced with pitocin!  My son was a pitocin baby and the contractions were the worst pain I felt in my life.  My daughter was more natural, I labored at home with her until I was six centimeters and it was a piece of cake.

i had contractions before being induced and while on pitocin. the only reason I got induced is because I wasn't dilating. both of them pretty much sucked for me. naturally I was having 3-4 back to back . so as soon as one was done the next would start. they lasted for about 40 seconds at a time. on pitocin it just really made the intensity worse. I highly suggest getting an epidural unless you don't want to . I couldn't feel anything after I got mine.
