First Acupuncture appointment....confused

I just left my first acupuncture appointment. I’m not sure what the heck I just experienced. First of all I understood nothing he said. Except my stomach is weak. Oh and I also understood $215 which would be the cost of the Chinese medicine he was going to Custom make for me...but wouldn’t tell me what is was made of. Also he put 3 needles in my foot on right side only and one in my wrist - right side only. (After taking my pulse on each wrist 4-5 times). How is that supposed to help me get pregnant. Shouldn’t there have been a few needles in my stomach are. This place was recommended through my insurance so I’m assuming it was legit but what in the hell! Is this a normal experience??
