How are you announcing?

We're thinking when the whole family will be together for Thanksgiving, so we only have to do it once. Do you think the timing will be bad or just another reason to be thankful?

I don’t see anything wrong with the timing. It’s hard to get the whole family together so it’s super special to be able to announce to everyone all at once. 
We are announcing at the very end of my daughters 5th birthday party tomorrow by her last present being a shirt that says big sister (finally). It’s the only time we will have with our entire family and our best friends so it’s perfect for us.

We'll be a couple weeks into the second trimester on my birthday (November 13). I plan on having all of our friends over for a party and game night. 
We're going to play that game, Celebrity. If you haven't played, it's a little like charades. I'm going to slip a piece of paper in with all the other names, that says something like, "Elisabeth is pregnant" and then whoever draws it will have to act it out and have it guessed by their team.
I'm really excited! 
Our family is all out of town, so we'll tell each individually.

On Facebook we are doing a special picture at the beach to announce and for our parents we are sending then flowers and the cards say "BABY IN BLOOM! BABY GREEN DUE MAY 2018.

I'm making 'coupon' magnets, SO has some family in another state and we will never all be together so we're doing it somewhat separately. I was actually just going to post looking for suggestions, because I haven't quite finished them yet!
