Frustrated, but focus on hope

My Hubby went to my long time family doctor for the first time today since his previous doctor vanished. During the appointment, which was more a meet and greet than anything else, they talked about his most recent Sperm test and for the first time were told that his sperm have irregular heads and therefore are unlikely to get pregnant naturally. This has given us new focus for our future on this journey. At the same time though, I am super frustrated that no doctor has mentioned this before now. We have seen a doctor at our local Fertility clinic who had his first test results a little under a year ago. He also has a specialist who hasn’t mentioned it. I know we have hope and will get pregnant someday but it’s still frustrating to have been told to try the natural way for almost a full year when we have such a low chance of success that we will most likely need to go the IVF route.
