Cervical ultrasound
So I'm 32 weeks FTM and I've been on bedrest for about a week now because I was having some vaginal pain and went in to l&d and they said I had a short thinning cervix that was funneling and I had already started to dilate. I just had my first follow up appt at my OB/GYN this morning and I dont feel like it was done very thoroughly. They did a transvag ultrasound and it literally lasted 30 seconds and she only took one measurement (cervix length). I wont be able to discusss the results with my doctor until friday but the ultrasound tech said my cervix is fine. Does this seem right? I had a short thinning funneling cervix with dilation and now everything is fine? Can one cervical measurement after 30 seconds tell them all that?
