Labor Update | My Princess Is Here • 10/13/17 💕

Hello everyone I went to the hospital around 1:30am on Thursday the 12th for consistent contractions I had been having since 9:00am the previous morning. The contractions were very bearable. When I got to the hospital they were around 5-6 minutes apart. Once they got me to my room and hooked up to the monitors my baby's heartbeat was 200 bpm. At that point the doctor wanted to do an emergency c-section but her heart rate stabilized. We continued with regular labor. I went from 1.5 cm to 4cm within 2 hours so they admitted me. Fast forward, they broke my water bag , I dilated to 6cm, got my epidural and continued to labor. Ot land her heart rate and mine skyrocketed again. At that point it was over 200 bpm so I had to get an emergency c section. The c section was very painful but rewarding in the end.

At 5:46pm on 10/13/17 my beautiful baby girl was born. She was 6 pounds , 9oz and 20 inches long. I was originally due on 10/17/17. 💝
