Sex at five weeks?

Question

Is it ok to have sex at five weeks pregnant? I’m afraid if I see any kind of blood I will freak out! Last month I had a chemical pregnancy and can’t even think about losing this one. My friend had sex and then 2 days later had a miscarriage she was 6.5 weeks I’m not sure if it’s related but it’s hard not to. My husband is very supportive and says whenever I’m ready but I just feel bad! Any advice or stories would be helpful!

The only bleeding that can happen as a result of sex is the vessels inside of you can be working a lot harder and you can irritate them a little. I had sex at 5 weeks and had a little bit of pink blood at the end and freaaaaaaked out, prepared myself to lose my baby for a minute. I'm 34 weeks now, sex is healthy during pregnancy unless a doctor tells you otherwise due to low lying placenta etc but there's no placenta at 5 weeks.. honestly just enjoy yourself your body will tell you what it doesn't like

sex wont cause miscarriage. if it did, none if us would be here lol do it when you feel comfortable, but no amount of sex will cause a miscarriage. that little emby is very safe where it is and will not get jostled easily.

According to my doctor, sex cannot cause miscarriage. I happened to have a miscarriage a couple days after having sex when I was 6 weeks but honestly don’t think that had anything to do with it. When I got pregnant again I was terrified to have sex at first, but still had implantation bleeding and was advised to stay on pelvic rest. We waited until after our 12 week scan and dr said if was fine. We have sex quite often now and everything seems to be fine, I always check for blood and haven’t had any so far, hopefully won’t.

I'm 8w4d today and we have had sex 3 times so far. The first two times were great, but the 3rd time I had pink & red spotting. I called my doctor and she put me on pelvic rest (medical term for no sex) until my next appointment in 3 weeks. 
I've had a miscarriage before so I was freaking out. Definitely made it to where I don't even remotely want to have sex again this pregnancy. We may try it again after the 1st trimester if the doctor clears us. My poor hubby!

Doctors usually advise against sex atleast until you hear a heartbeat. Mine advised against it period because I was high risk

I’m 6 weeks Monday. My husband and I have had sex multiple times. A miscarriage typically happens because there is something wrong with the embryo and the body rejects it, unless you have a high risk pregnancy, which is different. Nothing you could have not or not done would have probably changed your miscarriage. But do what makes you the most comfortable.

I know it's okay to have sex during pregnancy. My problem is that my cervix is VERY sensitive. I had sex at 7 weeks and my boyfriend was very gentle, either way still caused some light bleeding. It went away quickly but the next day I was very sore. Spoke to my doctor about it and told me to wait until after 12 weeks since it was so uncomfortable for me. I feel so bad for him but he is being very supportive and just reassures me that he's okay and we will be intimate whenever I'm ready.
