Pregnant and measuring 6 days ahead should I change my date?

So I'm measuring ahead of the game by 6 days. I didn't know if I should change my due date to match my pregnancy or not 🤷🏼‍♀️🤰🏼. If the baby is growing faster and looks like it's more advanced I feel like I should change it. Idk. Thoughts?? Picture taken at 10 ish weeks

Your doctor would change it if they think it's wrong. Normally it's if the baby measure a week further and some doctors only change if it measures a week further for two ultra sounds in a row.

I would stick to the dating scan measurements. That's when its most accurate, I was put forward 5 days on my dating scan, you can ovulate at a different point in your cycle and catch at different points from that so LMP is very rarely exactly accurate.

My doctor said if you are not a full week ahead/behind then they stick to the date of LMP. I was measuring 5 days behind and they stuck to my LMP but my past recent ultrasound I measured right on schedule so the size of the baby can fluctuate.

I'm measuring a week ahead too but the doctor said they won't change it unless it's like over 10 days off. So I've changed it in my head, just not officially on paper lol.

Nope. It's normal for babies to have growth spurts even in the womb. You could be measuring 10 days ahead and then totally back to normal the next time you go in. Unless it's constant or your first dating scan then no do not change your date it will only confusing things. The doctor will tell you if they're changing it.

I measured 6 days ahead with my first. My due date was never changed because they’ll only change it if it’s a full week. I delivered on what would have been my new due date.

What mine said is I have to measure ahead by a week or more two ultrasounds in a row. So at our next ultrasound in December if we are still ahead we will be pushed from 4/22 to 4/12

I believe you should go by ultrasound if it’s consistent. Bc if it’s 6 days ahead then baby will be full term 6 days ahead and so she or he would be coming earlier than your LMP EDD. Mine is measuring 4 days ahead and has every ultrasound and I have had 3 so I’m going by it even though the office still goes by the LMP.

no....now that babies grow at different rates due to how long the baby is meant to be and such it isnt accurate. most accurate is in the beginning when all babies should measure the same size

I was measuring 3 days ahead and my doctor told me to go off the ultrasound and changed my date.
