What do you do when you get a positive opk?

Do you keep taking them regularly until you get a negative? Or do you just stop and assume you ovulate 12-36 hours later? Just curious. Last month I just stopped taking them after two days of positives.

My doctor suggested I continue taking them until a negative so I could see how long my surge was. I ended up pregnant so... haha

I stop once I get a negative (I usually get two) and bd those days I get positives and when I notice ewcm

I got my first positive opk cd14, got my 2nd positive opk cd15. Tested again cd16 to make sure it was negative - and it was. I stopped testing completely after that.
