So a while ago I posted that my SO was nervous about the thought of having baby. He's 27 and I'm 25, we've been together for 9 years.

So anyway, he wasn't ready and it crushed me because all I've ever wanted is to be a Mum! But I love him, so we agreed to wait.

Today we were taking and the subject of babies came up; usually at this point he would change the topic or roll his eyes...today he didn't.

Today he told me he was ready!!!

So FINALLY we are going to start TTC in January 🤗 I'm so overwhelmed and happy and excited and thankful that he's ready to start this journey! He even went as far as thinking about names and nursery decoration 😱

He did have some ground rules though:

1) no summer baby - he doesn't want our baby to be the youngest in his school year 🤔

2) no late Jan/early Feb - this could mess up his Super Bowl party plans 🙄

I was about to explain that we might not get a choice of birthday...butttt I let him have his say, after all he's taken a hugeeeee step!!!

I absolutely cannot wait to start our little family 😊 I know he will be an amazing Dad! Roll on January!!!!
