emergency c section vs planned c section

so with my first born I had an emergency csection. He's almost 2 and I'm 15 wks pregnant with my 2nd. Since I had an emergency csection I have to have them every time I have a baby now. I'M TERRIFIED. I had a pretty rough labor/delivery. Everyone says a planned csection is so much calmer but i don't even know how that could be. The anesthesia they gave me made me shake like crazy and it was just very emotional and scarey. if you've gone thru this , what advice can you give me? tell me your stories! lol
