Do you believe that we coexist with another life form, that we are unable to see?

I'm not talking animals. I'm referring to what people commonly call spirits or ghosts, etc. There are people who claim to have become familiar with some spirits and say they have even formed friendships. Others claim possession or being 'haunted' by them.

Those who don't believe..

Why not? When there are so many accounts of people experiencing something 'supernatural', what is your reason for denying it? What do you believe could be an explanation for these experiences?

Those who believe..

Atheists, where would this tie into the theory of evolution? What theories might you have for the existence of these spirits, or whatever they might be?

People of religion, what does your religion say of such matters?

People of magic, I'm particularly interested to know where you stand in this regard. What are your beliefs? Do these spirits have a direct relation to the magic you use?

I would love to hear experiences, if anyone has any to share.

Also, agnostics, I have no specific question. Answer as you see fit 😬

Finally, do you believe that the spirits are ghosts of the dead or whole other life form that coexists with us on earth? Or something else entirely?

I'm genuinely really intrigued to know where people stand on this. So please, approach it with an open mind. I want to hear the actual theories and beliefs of people. So please don't say stuff like "because, science 🤷🏽‍♀️" or start preaching your religion without a prompt, people need to cut that crap.

From what I know, Islam and Judaism, like most things regarding religion, have very similar beliefs on the matter. But I answer from an Islamic standpoint.

Yes, I believe that we coexist with another life form - one that we are unable to see. The Qur'an teaches that God created man and jinn. Jinn is the word used by Muslims to describe these other beings. The jinn occupied earth long before humans. They are similar to man, in that there are good and bad jinn, they have families and friends, religions, etc. We can't see them, though they can see us. They are linked to things that humans believe to be dark magic. Muslims also believe that the devil is a jinn, and among the jinn are those who follow the ways of the devil.

I actually believed that they have a part to play in my bipolar disorder..but if I delved into that, this post would become incredibly long.
