Trouble getting back to birth weight?

Question

My babe was down 7 oz at 4 days PP and another 7 oz at 9 days PP. So now we've been supplementing and go back for a weight check Tuesday. Anyone else's babe have a hard time gaining their birth weight back?

My son went from 3.7kg at birth to 3.3kg at 6 days pp and my midwife started doing weight checks every 2 days we were ebf and he wasn't changing weight until day 12 I started supplementing formula after every feed as well as seeing a lactation consultant who said he wasn't draining my breast properly and was getting too tired sucking and caused a low supply.
At his 3 week appointment he was back to his birth weight and started clusterfeeding like mad which brought up my milk supply and I could stop his formula. He's now almost 5 weeks and I offer him one bottle at night when I don't produce as much

I had to supplement when we dropped from 7lbs6oz to 6lbs4oz. Turned out to be posterior tongue tie and an inefficient suck. 4 weeks later, we’ve been cleared to stop supplementing with formula, but I still have to pump and supplement with that.

Our daughter was 9lbs 1 oz at birth, the next day she was down 8lbs 13oz, and then the next 8lbs 1oz. So, she lost a pound. She will be two weeks on Sunday and we have our 4th weight check on Tuesday and she should be back to her birth weight by then, at our last she was back up to 8lbs 10oz. We started supplementing 1 oz of formula after every feeding using a syringe until my milk came in good. She was latching great so we then switched to a bottle after a week that is suppose to be good to not cause nipple confusion and so far she goes back and forth great. She still gets formula or extra breastmilk after a few feedings a day to help get her weight back up.

My baby was 6 pounds and drop to 5.5 I was breast 
Feeding until the pediatrician recommended me to supplement her and it went down hill ! She gained weight but after she refused my nipple .. so don’t give up
