Did you get to hear babies heartbeat at your 16-week Midwife App (UK)

Question

One of my friends heard her baby’s heartbeat at 16 week midwife appointment in the UK. Just wondered if this is standard or did some people not get to hear it. 
If you could also post where you are from in the UK that would be helpful

15w4ds heard for the first time.  Today is baby shower day 33 weeks.

I heard it for the first time at my 16 week appointment. It took her a while to find it but she did eventually. I'm in the Nottinghamshire/Derbyshire area

Hi its your 18 week appointment isn’t it, but anyway i had mine yesterday i was 19 weeks and 3 days so sometimes it not always booked on time but yes i heard my baby’s heartbeat. The machine the midwife uses isn’t great like the hospitals but you can still hear everything! By the way i live in Bolton in Greater Manchester :) xx
