not wanting to be in the hospital on Halloween

I am due on Nov 1st, but I am thinking about asking my doc if I can be induced at 39 weeks. It may sound silly to some but i for one don't want to be in the hospital o Halloween (considering I go before my due date ) when I have a 3 year old who I would feel like shit if I couldn't take trick or treating. as well as family coming in from another state for 1 week to see her. does this make me wrong? please be nice, this is something I'm personally struggling with, but I would like your nice opinions. Thank you.
