I'm about 6 weeks pregnant with my first. Anybody else feel the need to retest if you have a day where you feel off? That dark pink line is very reassuring.

I was testing up until my first ultrasound which was at 13 weeks 🤷🏻‍♀️ I know people who have done it until they were 20 weeks.  Some days you just don’t feel pregnant and need that reassurance, if someone judges you for that then they’ve probably never been pregnant

Yes!!! This was one of my darker tests and i got blood drawn which confirmed my pregnancy but i still have barely any symptoms and im 7 weeks and 5 days today so i took another and it was so much darker!! Puts my heart and mind at ease till my appointment in 2 weeks

Careful. The line will start to fade due to the hook effect. I suggest you stop testing mama.

Be aware of the hook effect! When you start to get further along when you take a test the line will be lighter because the test will get confused by the high amount of hcg.

I did this too because I had a MC last year in feb when I got pregnant this year in April I would do this until my doctor told me not to do it anymore because even if we have a MC or the babies heart stops beating he test will be positive because you still have HCG. Just relax and stop testing. I’m 30 weeks pregnant now.
