When did you stop working ?

I'm currently 33 weeks , and I sit down at my job all day but I'm currently do some major filing and the last two weeks my feet have been really sore and big to where my ankles or around them are huge and I'm becoming overwhelmed not sure when I will stop working ... just wanted to know when other mommies stopped ?

I'm a nurse and I worked up until a couple of days before my delivery. If you have a normal healthy pregnancy and your doctor doesn't put you on bed rest there's not much need to go out early.  Staying moving during pregnancy is good for you. Talk to your doctor about it and the two of you make a decision based on your pregnancy and your health.

Depends where you live to. I'm in Canada so we get to stop working 8 weeks before (paid) but up to 12 if it's unpaid. I'm in my last week so I'll be 33 when I'm off!  I work retail and my feet hurt so bad at the end of the day that I'm in tears. Go when it feels right!

Kay can you get your doctor to write a note saying you need to stay off your feet or restrict activity a bit?

I’m being induced Tuesday and Monday will be my first day off before having this baby lol 
I needed to work my entire pregnancy to save up enough to be ok for a few weeks after having her

I just finished Friday... i was 38+5. My job is a producer for a tv/video production company, so most days I'm in the office but some days I'm on set. Those days were long and on my feet a lot, but not unbearable.

typically its 36 weeks but talk to your doctor. When I was pregnant with my first daughter I commuted and hour each way amd sat/ stood at a desk all day but it was hurting so bad the doctor pulled me from work at 27 weeks.

I wish I had a choice. I have to work basically up until the week of delivery. I can't afford not to. And I'm on my feet ALL day at my job :/
