Ladies please advise me what to do

So my S/O just informed his boss he quits the job. Background story: I am with this man almost 4 years now. We met at the university while studying our PhD in Spain. He is Spaniard and I am Greek. After finishing my contract with the university I have already spent more than 6 months actively searching and not finding anything (I am looking for any kind of job). He broke his contract with the university (he had until December 2017) after finishing his PhD to accept a job in Spain in the private sector. We did all the moving in a rush and now just one month after he quits the job because he is very unhappy and stressed. I advised him to wait a bit and quit after me or him have another job opportunity but he didn’t listen. He also wants us to get married. I am very upset and I dunno what to do girls. I know the job was a crap and his boss horrible but at least we had some income. And I just received another rejection letter from a company. I am super anxious and stressed right now. What should I do?
